_Buying a book I need for a course in my Social Work Skills class, I came across this book that caught my eye because of the beautiful black woman on the cover while reading the cover and looking down I realized that she was HIV positive.Yup. HIV POSITIVE.
I have been walking around with this book since last night taking it every where I went because it is a true story. It happened to Marvelyn at the young age of nineteen because she had unprotected sex. I am in total shocked I am hoping to be done with the book by 2am so that I can be able to do jam hair.
ITS ALMOST VDAY.....and I feel I couldnt of picked a better book at such a better time
Then this one.
This book is recent to I mean she graduated highschool at the age of nineteen.
We definitely can relate.
Next book to begin reading that will have me analytically thinking about our AMERICA is....."WHY HIP HOP CAN'T SAVE BLACK AMERICA"
As for now you all should read "THE NAKED TRUTH"

I def saw that book in the Book Store... How was it? Stuff like that helps to humble me a bit cuz I`m not in a situation of that nature yet I find myself complaining about trivial things... Watch TLC sometimes.. Mad touching stuff that makes you realize that we have so much to be thankful for...
Your right!!! SUbjects like that are no joke. The book was really good....Like seriously you need to read it...its heartbreaking...yet it puts the ignorance of teenagers our age out there
